Journal Birthday Party......Hip, hip, hooray......

What a wonderful birthday treat!  The girls were adorable, creative, well-behaved,
and so appreciative.
They loved making their own personal journals.
They came out like one-of-a-kind works of art!
They should be so proud of themselves.
I was even lucky enough to have Grandmom as a great helper.
Thanks kids for this great opportunity to meet and work with all of you!

Glass Tile Pendants

Love this new craft....they are glass tile pendants.
I've been able to copy some of
my old family pictures to make some of these.
Lots and lots of fun doing this.
Enjoy!

Are these real "rosettes"?

Sizzix came out with a new cutting die by Tim Holtz called "Rosette."  Isn't it cute?  I could spend a whole day making them.  Can someone come over to cook and clean so I can make a million of them, please?  Nevermind, just send Tim Holtz over so he can make a million of them!

Lemonade.....yummmmm!

What a "yummy" arrangement of stamps by www.StampNPlus.com.  Kind of makes you think of a hot day relaxing on a porch with an ice-cold glass of lemonade.  Better get a drink before the butterfly gets all of it!  Enjoy......

How Sweet it is!

Wouldn't you just love to be able to have a lunch of lollipops and ice cream? I know I would. In fact, I have had ice cream as a meal on a few special occasions. Isn't Tuesday a special occasion? These stamps are from my all-time favorite site - www.StampNPlus.com. Check them out. You won't be disappointed. Gotta run and eat my ice cream before it melts.......

Fronts and Backs?????

This card is made from two separate stamps by Art Impressions (www.ArtImpressions.com). Takes a little thinking to make the card make sense....I'm not use to that. Hope you enjoy it!

A Journal is a Journal......

I like to think about these books as "journals." Recently someone came out with the name "SMASH." So now you have a fancy name for a book where you can save all the little "snippets of thoughts, inspirations, photos, clippings, ideas, and items of your life." What better way to showcase your daily life than to have a special place to put all the little things you want to save. A decorated "journal" is certainly a beautiful way to go. Enjoy your life!

This is Just "Sew Cute"

These little pillows are decorated with wire, jewels, beads, butterflies, etc. Aren't they just "Sew Cute"? I love making them. You can hang them from a hook, on a door knob, on a tree......just anywhere you choose.......you decide! They are fun to make and great to look at. No reason for these.........just enjoy!

Lighted Fabric Garland

Look at the beautiful sparkling of lights all throughout this fabric garland. I know this decorated garland takes hours and hours to make, but.......what a beautiful addition to any piece of furniture, doorway, tree, etc. Each piece of fabric is hand cut, hand torn, hand knotted, etc......see, I told you it takes hours and hours to make. Crafting is my passion.....what's your passion?

Nature's Bounty - Real or Fake?

I love flowers! Flowers come in all colors, shapes, sizes, etc. In fact, if you make your own flowers you can make them any way you want! I love making flowers; I love putting flowers on things; and I love wearing flowers. These hand-made, beautiful flowers are all made to wear on your tops, on hats, in your hair, etc. If you can dream it....you can wear it!

Happy Hats

In my spare time (what spare time?) I knit these gorgeous hats for kids with cancer (Knitting for Children with Cancer Group). There is a group of women that work on these hats all throughout the year. In fact, our local Chili's Bar and Grill (Boynton Beach, FL) honors the knitters once a year (in September) by giving us a luncheon. How great is that!

I love to knit while watching TV.....I don't even have to look at the hat while I'm knitting. Maybe I can sleep while knitting???? The hand-made flowers just brighten up the hat and, hopefully, brighten up a little girl's day. I know it makes my heart feel good to knit these beautiful hats.

Disney Isn't for Kids Anymore!

Disney isn't just for kids.....is it? Spent a few days at Disney with two of the cutest grandchildren in the world. Had a fabulous and exhausting time. Next time we go, I need to be younger!

Bradley, The Painter by Rubbernecker

As a Superstar Stamper for Addicted to Rubber Stamps, I make cards from the stamps they sell. I then email them the images with the supplies needed and instructions for making the cards. This is my dream "job." Did I say "job"? I'm supposed to be retired! I meant to say, "This is a dream hobby." If you haven't checked out their site, you need to go to: www.AddictedtoRubberStamps.com. What a great site! They have millions (maybe just thousands) of adorable rubber stamps and supplies. If you have to call them, tell them I sent you (only kidding). I love coloring; maybe I didn't get enough coloring in elementary school! You're never too old to learn a craft. In fact, you are never too old to color, cut, paste, and create. Go and find a craft.....go, go, go. You would be surprised how much trouble you can stay out of when you craft! Kids of all ages love to craft. Crafting is a gift you give to yourself and others. I've got to run.......have to make a few cards. Keep on crafting.........

The spirits are alive and doing well.......

These cards were made from copies of postcards dating back to the early 1900's. The postcards belong to my girlfriend, Diane, and her daughter, Monique. Well, the cards came out beautiful, and Diane loved them. Anyway.....I gave Diane the cards today; today is March 6. One of the postcards has a cancel date of March 6. Are we in the Twilight Zone or is Diane's Grandmother looking down on us and laughing?

Duckling

What a lucky "duck" I am to be able to do what I love! As a Superstar Stamper for Addicted to Rubber Stamping, this card will appear in one of the next issues of the Papercrafting News. It's so nice to see what I've done on the "big screen." Look at the top of the duck's head, notice anything unsuual?

I am a Superstar Stamper!

Guess what? I've been picked to be a Superstar Stamper for Addicted to Rubber Stamps (http://www.addictedtorubberstamps.com/)! How great is that? This little boy, with the snake, is my first project. Shortly you will be able to read all about me and the directions for this card on their newsletter-type website. I'm so excited I can hardly stamp and color!

Al-Anon to the Rescue

I was recently asked to work my magic on some cards that would be used as party "favors." Can you guess the fluttery theme? I think they came out pretty good. I'm impressed!
